The Early Movers project recruitment flow chart. The Early Movers project was divided into three groups each with varying intensity of study measures. In all groups, parents were asked to complete a questionnaire at 2, 4, and 6 months and report gross motor milestones until 18 months. In group 2 and 3, parents were also asked to complete a time-use diary at 2, 4, and 6 months and infants’ gross motor development was assessed by a physiotherapist at 6 months of age.
