  1. Note: Children are from the Food Environment Chilean Cohort (FECHIC). Adolescents are from the Growth and Obesity Cohort Study (GOCS). BMI z-scores were used to define children’s and adolescents’ weight status categories as healthy ( < = 1SD), overweight (> 1SD to < = 2 SD), and obesity (> 2SD). Underweight (<-2SD) was not identified in this sample. BMI was used to define mother’s weight status categories as healthy (18.5–24.9 kg/m2), overweight (25-29.9 kg/m2), and obesity ( > = 30 kg/m2)
