  1. Note. The total possible study quality score ranged from 6 to 18. Scores for each study quality criterion were assigned based on whether the study exhibited strong (3), moderate (2), or weak (1) characteristics in each category. Studies with scores from 15 to 18 were categorized as strong (n = 3), scores from 11 to 14 were categorized as moderate (n = 17), and scores from 6 to 10 were categorized as weak (n = 9). Environmental/systems confounders included controlling for menu, time available to eat, and/or day of the week, and specifying if salad bar/self-service options were present
